| AFTER 1968: CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS AND THE CIVIL RIGHTS LEGACY This exhibition showcases six African American artists and one artists' collective whose works explore how the actions and ideologies of the civil rights movement continue to be relevant today. Exhibiting artists are: Deborah Grant, Leslie Hewitt, Otabenga Jones and Associates, Adam Pendleton, Jefferson Pinder, Nadine Robinson and Hank Willis Thomas. Originally organized by the High Museum in Atlanta, After 1968 is the companion exhibition to Road to Freedom: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement which will be present concurrently at the Skirball Cultural Center. |

An Idea Called Tomorrow will be on view both at CAAM (1) and the Skirball Cultural Center (2). |
